Advice For Ordering The
Correct Size Dress: To help you choose the right size
dress, please refer to the Size Chart. Please do measure your bust, waist and
hips and give us those measurements not just size 14 etc as bridalwear normally
comes up on the small side, therefore we require your measurements so we can
send you the correct size dress accordingly. All our dresses can be taken in a
size or let out a size, so when in doubt order a larger size to ensure
alteration ease. Example: Bust = 38" Waist = 31" Hips = 42" Size you order = 16
even though you are closer in inches to the size 14. How To Measure Your Vital Statistics: Bust -
Preferably wear a good supporting bra and place the tape measure loosely under
the arms (over the shoulder blades) around the fullest part of the chest.
Waist - Measure around the natural waist keeping the tape measure slightly
loose. Hips - Measure around the fullest part of the bottom at the top
of the leg about 8" below the natural waistline. Don't worry if you are "pear
shaped" as most traditional wedding dresses flare out and hide this, especially
if you are wearing a dress that requires an underskirt. Advice For Your Fitting and Alterations: Once you
have ordered your dress and are in receipt of it, if needed, it is time for you
to have a fitting. It is advisable to have the dress fitted whilst wearing the
undergarments, petticoat (if applicable) and shoes that you intend to wear on
the day, as these items can make a difference to the overall alteration
measurements required to the dress. Advice For
Storing Your Dress: Most places are fine but do avoid
dampness, sunlight, strong smells and smoke. |
